The Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers Club (AFPCOC) is a "non-profit, service oriented" military facility that caters to the official military functions as well as social and recreational needs of the military officers, their dependents and guests.

Originally established and named as AFP Commissioned Officers Country (AFPCOC) in compliance to AFPRG 521-281 dtd 14 June 1960 wherein it was stated that "a mess will be established in every post, camp, station and other installations of the Armed Forces. The establishment of a mess is a command responsibility and Unit Commanders are directly responsible for the efficient operation and management of the mess". With this as guide GHQ Letter Directive dated 5 Oct 74 was published prescribing the policies and procedures on the operation and management of the AFPCOC later consolidated in an AFPCOC Organization and Regulations Manual published on 16 Jan 75. This was reduced into Staff Memo #1 dated 23 Jul 75 that sets forth the mission, functions and organization of AFPCOC categorized as a staff under CSAFP thru his designated Board of Directors.

On 17 Feb 83, AFPCOC facility housed at Bulwagan Valdez was gutted by fire. Sometime in March the following year a new AFPCOC facility situated beside the AFP Theater was inaugurated and became operational.
