The BAC Secretariat shall provide
administrative support to the BAC and the TWG,
if necessary.
The BAC Secretariat shall organize
and make all necessary arrangements for the BAC
and TWG meetings, if necessary.
The BAC Secretariat shall attend
BAC Meetings as Secretary.
The BAC Secretariat shall prepare
Minutes of the BAC Meetings.
The BAC Secretariat shall take
custody of procurement documents and be responsible
for the sale and distribution of bidding documents
to interested buyers.
The BAC Secretariat shall assist
in managing the procurement process.
The BAC Secretariat shall monitor
procurement activities and milestones for proper
reporting to relevant agencies and/or end-users,
when required.
The BAC Secretariat shall consolidate
the PPMP’s submitted by the various Project
Management Offices (PMOs) and end-user units of
the Procuring Entity, to make them available for
review as indicated in Sec 7 of the IRR-A.
The BAC Secretariat shall make
arrangements for the pre-procurement and pre-bid
conferences and bid openings.
The BAC Secretariat shall be
the central channel of communications for the
BAC with the end-users, PMOs, other units of the
agency, other government agencies, providers of
goods, civilk works and consulting services, and
the general public.
The BAC Secretariat shall assist
the BAC in preparing drafts of the resolution
recommending award.
The BAC Secretariat shall give
utmost priority to BAC assignments over all other
duties and responsibilities, until the requirements
for the procurement at hand are completed, and
shall perform jury duty when so required.
