CEISSAFP SPONSORS INFORMATION DRIVE ON RA 9292- THE ECE LAW

     Comunications, Electronics and Information Systems Service, AFP (CEISSAFP) hosted an information drive on the provisions of Republic Act 9292, an act providing for a more responsive and comprehensive regulation for the registration, licensing and practice of professional electronics engineers, electronics engineers and electronics technicians.

    BGEN RICARDO B BUTALID JR AFP Commander, CEISSAFP thought of having the information drive so that military electronics practitioners could get information on how they can professionalize themselves and reap the benefits accruing from the implementation of the law. Engineer Romulo R Agatep (PECE), the Chairman and President of the Institute of Electronics Communications Engineers of the Philippines (IECEPP) was the lead lecturer. He was ably supported by CAPT VICENTE L CEJOCO (JSC) PN, the Deputy Commander for Administration, a licensed EC engineer and reviewer himself.

Electronics practitioners from the PA, PAF, PN and CEISSAFP attended the symposium.
