  The Chief Chaplain Service AFP was born in Iloilo City. He had numerous schooling such as BS Theology, Basic Christian Doctrines, Biblical Interpretations, Masters and foremost was the Doctorate of Divinity. He received several awards from the organization as well as in the civilian sector for his utmost loyalty, dedication and love for community service.

General Function

      The office of the Chief Chaplain Service, AFP advises the CSAFP on the issue of religion, spiritually, ethics and morality pertaining to AFP personnel and their dependents and exercises professional supervision and technical control over all Chaplains of the AFP.

Criteria of Procurement

  • Ordained priest /pastor /imam
  • Favorably endorsed by ecclesiastical head
  • Completed a four year course in college and theological education
  • Not less than 25 years old and not more than 40 years of age
  • Ecumenical in outlook
