COAT OF ARMS

The official AFP Coat of Arms is composed of a sun and three small stars (All of which came from the National Flag representing the field grade officers and flag officers respectively), a sampaguita garland, a scroll containing the word “Philippines” , and a central motif of a triangle (representing the company grade officers). Superimposed over the silver triangle, is the golden eight-rayed sun charged with a blue ancient “K” inscription of the Baybayin symbol.
