The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is mandated to protect the people and the state, and secure the sovereignty of the state and the integrity of the national territory. Given its mandate, the AFP is tasked to secure the sovereignty of the state and the integrity of the national territory, protect the country from foreign aggression and internal subversion, advance the national aims and interest, and perform such duties as the President may direct.
To effectively deliver its services, the AFP needs qualified individuals to fill up various positions found in the link below:

- Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph;

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) efforts to prevent and counter violent extremism (PCVE) in Mindanao is gaining grounds with the recovery of 575 loose firearms in 2018.
Notable of these is the gains from seven municipalities in Sulu that surrendered 187 loose firearms on 06 March 2018, and other places in ZamBaSulta area which is a manifestation of local government units' cooperation in PCVE efforts of the national government.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – A total of 209 high-powered and low-powered firearms were either confiscated from or surrendered by NPA members while a total of 155 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were confiscated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in January and February 2018.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has recorded 2,263 regular members and supporters of the New People's Army (NPA) who surrendered nationwide in the first two months of 2018.
As of March 4, 2018, a total of 607 regular members of the NPA yielded to government authorities while the remaining 1,656 surrenderees are categorized into Militia ng Bayan (MB), Underground Mass Organization (UGMO) members and mass supporters.
