THE DENTAL SERVICE CONSIST OF SIX (6) TYPES OF DENTA UNITS:


1. DENTAL SECTION

         - The office of The Chief Dental Service, AFP and the Dental Surgeons of the different Major Service Commands.

2. AFP DENTAL SERVICE CENTER

         - Provides comprehensive dento-oral health care, and basic and advance military career courses and dental specialization in-service training of personnel of the Dental Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines.

3. DENTAL CLINIC

         - A dental installation attached to General and Station Hospitals. It provides dental services to patients confined in the hospital, military personnel, their dependents, civilian employee and authorized civilians.It also conducts physical examination and treatment.

4. DENTAL DISPENSARY

         - A type of dental installation established in camps, post, stations, forts and bases. It provides dental health services and treatment to all units stationed within these establishments.

5. DENTAL DETACHMENT

         - A type of dental installation organic to infantry Divisions and Brigades.

6. DENTAL OPERATING TEAM

         - is a mobile type dental unit that provides dental health services to Infantry Battalions and other separate units
