NEW BLOOD, SAME GRIT |
The Marine Battalion Landing Team 9 officially welcomed its newest Privates in a traditional incorporation ceremony on January 13, 2026, in Puerto Princesa City. More than just a warm welcome, the symbolic handshake marks their transition from trainees to brothers-in-arms, ready to uphold the proud legacy of the Corps.

Commanding Officer LTCOL ROMMEL M GELI PN(M) set the bar high, reminding the troops that their new ranks are fueled by humility and discipline. "Promotion isn’t a trophy; it’s a call to duty," he emphasized, charging the personnel to lead with accountability as they take on greater responsibilities in the unit’s mission.
