CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Financial Management, OJ10, successfully concluded the Enhanced Defense Resource Management System (DRMS) Workshop for Calendar Year 2024 at Headquarters Western Command in Palawan on 03 October 2024. The three-day workshop, which commenced on 01 October, aimed to strengthen the financial management capabilities of AFP personnel.
With the theme “Developing a Responsive Annual Plan and Budget (APB): Formulating Targets for Efficient Execution and Reporting,” the workshop equipped participants with the skills necessary to ensure optimal financial resource utilization across AFP units and offices. Participants were oriented on the Annual Plan and Budget, Integrated Budgeting and Procurement Software, and the Financial Management Information System.
The activity is a core initiative of the AFP in institutionalizing efficient and transparent financial management systems while enhancing the fiscal acumen of its personnel. The AFP remains committed to fostering good governance and accountability, ensuring that financial resources are efficiently managed to support the organization’s mission.
