CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) continues to gain ground as sustained military operations neutralized members of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) and Local Terrorist Groups (LTGs) across the country as of October this year.
The continued military operations against lawless elements have resulted in the neutralization of 143 members of the CTG and LTG for the month of October alone, making a total of 1,200 neutralized threat personalities since January 2023.
Firearms and mines were also recovered, and lairs were discovered during the said period with a total of 1,526 captured firearms, 389 anti-personnel mines, and 280 discovered hideouts.
These operational gains show the AFP’s relentless efforts and commitment to ending the local communist armed conflict in the country and to ensuring the safety and security of the people.///
