CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) commemorated the 35th anniversary of its Code of Conduct during a flag-raising ceremony led by AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. held today, here. The event also marked the official launch of the 90th AFP Anniversary logo, carrying the theme: “Matatag na Sandatahang Lakas, Sandigan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”
General Brawner emphasized the significance of both milestones, stating that the new logo symbolizes the AFP's nine decades of service, modernization, and commitment to national defense. He underscored the enduring role of the AFP Code of Conduct as the organization’s moral compass, guiding members in upholding the highest standards of honor, service, and patriotism.
“Together, the logo and the Code of Conduct capture what it means to be an Armed Forces: firm in defense, and steadfast in values,” General Brawner said, honoring the courage and character of every AFP personnel.
As the AFP looks ahead to its 90th founding anniversary, the simultaneous celebration of its Code of Conduct reaffirms its unwavering commitment to integrity, service, and national pride.
