CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) convened its 3rd Quarter 2025 Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC) Regular Meeting today, hosted by Honorable Jude A. Acidre (Member, AFP MSGC) at the Batasan Complex, Batasan Hills,, underscoring its commitment to institutional reforms, transparency, and accountability.
AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. led the discussions with MSGC members representing government, private sector, academe, and civil society. The council, chaired by Mr. Francisco F. Del Rosario, Jr., remains a vital partner of the AFP in sustaining its Transformation Roadmap, which envisions a modern, adaptive, and professional military organization that stands as a source of national pride.
The meeting reviewed key milestones in the AFP’s transformation programs, including digital modernization of systems, strengthened human resource development, and innovations in defense governance. General Brawner highlighted the importance of MSGC oversight in ensuring that reforms are sustained beyond leadership transitions.
The AFP continues to uphold its mandate with integrity and professionalism while strengthening partnerships with stakeholders in advancing good governance, national security, and public trust.
