CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomes the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa survey conducted by OCTA Research, which show high levels of public trust and satisfaction toward the military organization.
According to OCTA’s third-quarter survey conducted from September 25–30, 2025, 73% of adult Filipinos trust the AFP, while 73% are satisfied with its performance, translating to a net trust rating of +66 and a net satisfaction rating of +68.
The AFP noted with particular appreciation the strong public support across all regions and social classes, including high trust levels in Mindanao, the National Capital Region, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The AFP also welcomes the survey findings showing that 83% of Filipinos recognize the importance of defending the West Philippine Sea, 78% believe the AFP is capable of protecting the country against external threats, and 80% support strengthening partnerships with the United States and other like-minded nations.
