Exercise ALON 2025: PH, U.S., Australian Forces Showcase Interoperability in Forcible Entry Drill

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Australian Defence Force (ADF), and U.S. Marines carried out preparatory training on August 22, in San Vicente, Palawan, in advance of a combined joint forcible entry operation under Exercise ALON 2025. Preparations focused on planning, coordination, and staging maneuvers to ensure seamless execution of the upcoming amphibious assault.

On August 24, the participating forces successfully executed the forcible entry drill, highlighted by an airfield seizure. The activity demonstrated joint capability to project power from the sea onto land, enhancing interoperability and reinforcing the collective commitment of Philippine, Australian, and U.S. forces to regional security and stability in the Indo-Pacific.
