CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--The 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence was marked with a parade featuring various military units and personnel from other uniformed services at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on June 12.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the event, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to defending its territory and honoring those who fought for freedom.

The parade showcased the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, Coast Guard, Philippine National Police, and other agencies, each showing their role in national defense.

In his message, President Marcos stressed the importance of remembering the past while striving for a freer future. "Let us rise and advance as one nation, with a clear vision for a prosperous future," he said.

The theme, “Freedom, Future, History,” highlighted the celebration, underscoring the nation’s ongoing journey toward progress and unity.
