CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City –The Philippine Air Force (PAF) held a successful culmination of the Symposium and Expo 2024, highlighting the pursuit of adaptive resilience. General Romeo Brawner Jr., AFP Chief of Staff, graced the event as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on June 14, 2024, at Manila Marriot Hotel, Pasay City.
Themed around the core principle of innovation, this year’s symposium aimed to equip the PAF with the knowledge of artificial intelligence, cyber warfare, and unmanned aerial systems to adapt and excel in dynamic environments.
In his address, General Brawner commended the PAF for its versatility in thriving amidst adversity and emphasized its role in proactive approaches to confronting contemporary security challenges. He also reaffirmed the AFP’s steadfast support of the Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept (CADC), underscoring the need for collaborative efforts in achieving collective defense objectives.
“In the ever-evolving strategic landscape, this comprehensive framework empowers our forces with precision agility, and resolute purpose, securing our nation’s sovereignty in every corner of our vast and dynamic archipelago,” said General Brawner.
