Philippine Air Force Legacy Takes Flight as AFP Joins 78th Anniversary

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) proudly joined the Philippine Air Force (PAF) in commemorating its 78th Anniversary today, July 1, at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
 
With the theme “Focus PAF@78: Advancing Air Power by Committing to Mission, Strengthening Capabilities, and Championing Core Values,” the celebration underscored the PAF’s continuing efforts to evolve as a modern, responsive, and resilient air force committed to national security and territorial integrity.
 
The event was graced by His Excellency President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., as Guest of Honor and Speaker. He was joined by Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C Teodoro Jr., AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr., and Philippine Air Force Commanding General, LtGen Arthur M Cordura.
