CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines joined the nation in commemorating the 128th anniversary of the martyrdom of national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal today, at the Rizal National Monument, Manila.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the troops of the Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) on November 29, 2024, at Camp Guillermo Nakar in Lucena City, Quezon. Accompanied by General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the President met with officers and personnel to commend their accomplishments and encourage them to remain steadfast in their mission.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines remains steadfast in its mission to end the decades-long insurgency and render the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NPA), irrelevant to the nation’s future. Through decisive operations and a whole-of-nation approach, their capabilities have been significantly crippled, with only one weakened guerrilla front set for dismantling.
This season of joy and hope, I extend my warmest greetings to the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, our civilian personnel, reservists, and their families.
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) celebrated its 89th Founding Anniversary on December 20 here with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
