The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) strongly denounces the malicious disinformation circulating in this social media post and categorically denies the baseless claims attributed to the Chief of Staff, AFP, alleging that a small group of soldiers is threatening to withdraw support from the duly constituted authorities. No such statement has been made, and no such movement exists within the organization. The AFP remains intact, professional, and steadfast in upholding the Constitution and following the Chain of Command.

Also, the claims in video posts that Malacañang is looking into the possible filing of cases against soldiers who are withdrawing support to the government is false and utterly without basis.

We urge the public to exercise vigilance against false and divisive content on social media and to support the AFP’s steadfast commitment to national stability and constitutional order.
