AFP, USINDOPACOM Conduct First PH–US Maritime Cooperative Activity for 2026

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- Marking the start of this year’s series of bilateral maritime engagements, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) conducted the first PH–US Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) for 2026 on January 25–26 in Bajo de Masinloc within the West Philippine Sea (WPS). AFP Chief of Staff Pays Tribute to Fallen Soldiers in Lanao Attack

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr visited the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army in Iligan City on January 24 to personally pay his respects during the wake of the four (4) soldiers who were killed in a treacherous attack by the Dawlah Islamiyah–Maute Group in Barangay Liningding, Munai, Lanao del Norte last January 23.

AFP Strengthens Energy Security Through Monitoring Patrol at Malampaya
