CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomed the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) nationwide survey conducted by OCTA Research from March 19 to 25, 2026, which showed that 76 percent of adult Filipinos support the government’s efforts to defend the country’s territory and sovereign rights, including the West Philippine Sea.

AFP Chief Honors Fallen Airmen, Extends Condolences to Bereaved Families

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr. visited the wake of two airmen who tragically lost their lives in an aircraft mishap in Tuba, Benguet, during a Military Pilot Training flight on May 20, 2026. The visit was held on May 22 at the Philippine Air Force Mortuary, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base (CJVAB), Pasay City, where the CSAFP personally paid respects and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
