CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – Three (3) members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters-Karialan Faction (BIFF-KF) and Bungos Faction (BF) voluntarily surrendered to the 40th Infantry Battalion (H40IB) in Brgy. Kabengi, Datu Saudi, Ampatuan, Maguindanao Del Sur on February 01, 2023.
They were identified as Bro Sali, Ali Akbar, and Mohamidin K Mamungkal. They were welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the 40IB, Lieutenant Colonel Edwin M. Alburo PA.
They yielded one (1) Sniper rifle 7.62mm, one (1) Sniper rifle Cal .50 SN defaced, and one (1) GL 40mm RPG. // (Story and photo by WMC)
