CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City— In a show of preparedness, General Romeo S Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), visited the Headquarters of the 303rd Infantry Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division at Camp Gerona in Murcia, Negros Oriental on April 7. The visit highlighted the military’s readiness to respond to the ongoing threat posed by Mount Kanlaon.
Accompanied by Major General Michael G Samson, Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division; and Brigadier General Ted B Dumosmog, Commander of the 303rd Infantry Brigade; General Brawner encouraged military personnel to stay mission-focused and remain committed to national security and disaster response efforts.
The visit underscored the AFP’s continued vigilance and readiness to swiftly mobilize in the face of natural disasters, ensuring both the safety of citizens and the stability of the region. The AFP stands fully prepared to assist in any necessary evacuation, relief operations, and other humanitarian efforts in response to potential emergencies.
