CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), welcomed Admiral David Lance Johnston, Chief of Defence Force, Australian Defence Force (ADF) during a courtesy call at Camp Aguinaldo on August 22.
The meeting highlighted the close defense partnership between the Philippines and Australia, as both leaders exchanged views on enhancing military cooperation and interoperability.
Admiral Johnston’s visit also coincides with the ongoing Philippines–Australia Exercise ALON 2025, which further strengthens the capacity of both armed forces to work together in addressing shared security challenges.///
