CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Joint Task Force-NCR, deployed around 500 personnel and two armored vehicles in support of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the upcoming 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr on July 22, 2024.
The send-off ceremony was held at the Headquarters of the Quezon City Police District at Camp Karingal today. Part of the activity is the blessing of the security forces contingent and assets to be deployed.
The AFP remains steadfast in supporting the PNP and ensuring a secure and peaceful SONA of the President. Through collaborative efforts and unwavering dedication, the AFP stands ready to safeguard the nation's stability and democratic proceedings.
