CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S Brawner Jr., encouraged AFP Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to maintain their dedication as the primary special force operator during the AFPSOCOM 6th Founding Anniversary at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on Monday, April 15, 2024.
The anniversary celebration highlighted the significant contributions and accomplishments of the AFP SOCOM playing a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and support operation ensuring peace and security in the country. In his address, General Brawner Jr., commended the bravery and commitment of AFP SOCOM, fortifying AFP’s capability to address all conventional and unconventional security challenges.
“I commend all member of AFP SOCOM under the exceptional leadership of commander Major General Freddie T Dela Cruz. May you continue to build upon your achievements, further develop your command and execute special operation with precision and excellence. Rest assured that the Armed Forces of the Philippines fully support AFP SOCOM in its mission to enhance readiness, skill advancement, and capability development in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.” General Brawner Jr.
