CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City –General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), met with Admiral Lisa Franchetti, Chief of Naval Operations of the United States Navy, during the latter's courtesy visit on July 26, 2024, at the AFP General Headquarters here.
During the visit, General Brawner and Admiral Franchetti discussed ongoing military cooperation and strategic partnership between the Philippines and the United States. The dialogue underscored the mutual commitment to regional security, maritime domain awareness, and enhancing interoperability between the two nations' armed forces.
