CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. PA, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), received a courtesy call from LTC (GS) Philipp Doert, outgoing German Non-Resident Defense Attaché to the Philippines, and CDR Michael Radtke, incoming German Non-Resident Defense Attaché at the AFP General Headquarters on August 20, 2025.
During the meeting, General Brawner extended his appreciation to LTC Doert for his active role in strengthening military cooperation between the Philippines and Germany. He also expressed optimism in continuing and enhancing the partnership under the leadership of CDR Radtke.
The Philippines and Germany signed a new defense agreement in May this year, boosting bilateral relations and paving the way for various joint military activities.///
