CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Financial Management, OJ10, successfully concluded the Resource Management Mentoring Program (RMMP) on September 18, 2024.
The program, which started in April 2024, featured video-teleconference sessions for each of the 59 units and offices of the AFP to help them comply with their financial, logistical, procurement, and accounting requirements.
It was conducted in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, OJ4, AFP Procurement Service (AFPPS), and the AFP Accounting Center and is part of the AFP’s continuous effort to ensure the efficient use of funds and promote good governance.
The RMMP aimed to guide units in the judicious use of financial resources while reinforcing transparency and accountability across the organization. The program also served as a platform for sharing best practices in financial management and addressing common challenges in resource allocation.
The AFP remains focused on institutionalizing effective financial practices as part of its broader efforts to modernize and professionalize its operations. The RMMP is a key step in ensuring that all AFP units and offices are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage resources responsibly and effectively.
