AFP conducts groundbreaking ceremony for new OLA building

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines conducted the groundbreaking ceremony of the new building of the Office for Legislative Affairs (OLA) on May 23, 2024, here.
The event was presided over by BGen Armand Arevalo, Commander, General Headquarters and Headquarters Service Command (GHQ and HSC), on behalf of the AFP Chief of Staff, General Romeo Brawner Jr.

The construction of the new OLA building presents a tangible manifestation of the AFP's forward-looking vision and strategic planning. It reflects the AFP's dedication to modernizing its infrastructures by providing centralized and purpose-built facilities.

“The construction of the new OLA building is a pro-active approach that enhances defense capabilities and security cooperation. This reflects a necessary element in our shared advocacy for a stronger, better, and future-ready AFP,” BGen Arevalo said.
