Gracing the occasion as Guest of Honor and Speaker was Senator Joseph Victor “JV” G Ejercito, whose heartfelt message emphasized the nation’s continuing duty to remember and care for Filipino veterans and their families. Led by Commodore Luidegar C Casis PN, Chief, PGMC, AFP and Lead Organizer of the event, participants rode together toward the Libingan ng mga Bayani for the solemn wreath-laying ceremony. In silence and reverence, riders and veterans stood side by side to honor the fallen heroes of the nation, a deeply moving moment that reminded everyone that the freedoms enjoyed today were paid for through sacrifice, courage, and selfless service.
The program proper featured the ceremonial pinning of the HEROES Pin, recognition of sponsors and partners, and a remarkable Silent Drill Presentation by the Philippine Marine Corps Silent Drill Team. Yet beyond the ceremonies and roaring engines, the true heart of VeteRide 2026 was found in the smiles of the veterans, the handshakes between generations, and the shared sense of respect and gratitude felt throughout the event. More than just a motorcycle ride, VeteRide 2026 became a heartfelt tribute to the enduring legacy of Filipino veterans, proving that while time may pass, the nation will never forget its heroes.
