CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- In celebration of this year’s Civil Service Anniversary under the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan,” the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) held a ceremonial oath-taking and recognition program for newly-appointed and newly-promoted Civilian Human Resources (CivHRs) held today, here.
The event was presided over by AFP Deputy Chief of Staff LtGen Rommel P Roldan, MGen Ramon P Flores, Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1, and Ms. Marites M. Sierra, Acting Chief of the Civilian Personnel Administrative Division (CPAD), OJ1.
Also recognized were civilian personnel from the General Headquarters, Combatant Commands, and AFP-Wide Support and Separate Units (AFPWSSUs), collectively referred to as GCA personnel.
In his message, LtGen Roldan emphasized the indispensable contributions of CivHRs to the AFP’s mission success. “Today, we celebrate the backbone of the institution – our hardworking civilian servants. Your role as partners to our uniformed personnel is essential in promoting strong and principled leadership within our organization.”
The Armed Forces of the Philippines continues to uphold its commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and excellence across all sectors of its workforce, acknowledging the critical role of civilian personnel in advancing national defense and development objectives.
