AFP hosts Year-End 2023 National JPSCC Meeting

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spearheaded the Year-End 2023 National Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center (JPSCC) Meeting with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on January 30 at the General Headquarters.
 
The National JPSCC Meeting aims to discuss the significant accomplishments and planned activities of the six JPSCC Joint Cells: Joint Operations Cell, Joint Intelligence Cell, Joint Logistics Cell, Joint Civic-Community Relations Cell, Joint Legal and Investigation Cell, and Joint Education and Training Cell.
 

The meeting was attended by the Vice Chief of Staff, AFP, LtGen Arthur Cordura PAF; The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP, LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan PN(M); Officer-in-Charge, Philippine Coast Guard, VAdm Rolando Lizor Punzalan Jr.; and The Deputy Chief PNP for Operations, PLtGen Michael John Dubria.
 
“The JPSCC serves as a testament to the power of solidarity, showcasing that we can achieve when we work hand-in-hand towards a common goal. Together, we are a formidable force capable of ensuring the safety and prosperity of our nation. May our unified efforts pave the way for a more secure and resilient future of our country,” said the Chief of Staff, AFP, Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., in a message delivered by the Vice Chief of Staff.

The JPSCC is the governing body responsible for planning and implementing security operations, monitoring peace situations, coordinating peace and security measures, initiating cross-training between organizations, and reviewing nationwide peace and security situations.///
