The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) joined the Philippine Navy’s 127th Anniversary Celebration today at Naval Operating Base-Subic, Zambales. With the theme, “Philippine Navy: Addressing Challenges, Promoting Regional Stability, and Strengthening Maritime Security,” the event reflects its ongoing mission to safeguard the nation’s maritime interest while upholding its sovereignty.
The celebration was graced by His Excellency President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., as Guest of Honor and Speaker. He was joined by Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C Teodoro Jr., AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr., and Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command, Vice Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta.
