CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Service, AFP (CEISSAFP), kicks off the Command and Control, Communications, Cybersecurity, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (C4ISTAR) EXPO 2023 with The Vice Chief of Staff, AFP, LtGen Arthur M Cordura PAF as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on November 20 at the AFP Headquarters.
Anchored to the theme: “The AFP Enhancing its Digital Battlefield: Adapting to the Future of Warfare,” the 2-day activity features lectures and exhibits that serve as an opportunity to engage with experts and explore the latest trends, developments, and breakthroughs in the cyber domain.
LtGen Cordura expressed his gratitude to the partners from the public and private sectors and conveyed his optimism in bolstering AFP’s capabilities in security and defense successfully.
“I hope this 2-day Expo will highlight two significant points – first, our digital arsenals, which reflects our strong commitment to adapt and evolve in the rapidly changing landscape of modern warfare to ensure that the AFP remains at the forefront of global military excellence; and second, the importance of responsibly leveraging cyber technologies in safeguarding national security as we maintain a competitive role in the ever-changing global security environment,” LtGen Cordura said.///
