CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — Troops under the 71st Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army joined forces with the local government of Dasol and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to distribute relief goods to residents of Barangay Eguia, Dasol, Pangasinan, on 24 July 2025. The initiative was part of ongoing efforts to support communities severely affected by the onslaught of Typhoon “Emong.”
On the same day, Army personnel also partnered with the Philippine Coast Guard and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Calasiao, Pangasinan to provide transportation assistance to families in low-lying areas.
