Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Andres C Centino PA accepted the first batch of military equipment from the Ministry of National Defense (MND) of the People's Republic of China (PROC) today, February 9, 2022.
Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian handed over the donation worth RMB76 million or Php608 million pesos in a turn-over ceremony held at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The grant includes various rescue and relief equipment, transport vehicles, and engineering equipment to be distributed to different DND agencies and AFP units.
