CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines conducted a Memorandum of Agreement Signing with the World Surgical Foundation Philippines (WSFP), Inc. at the General Headquarters on May 22, 2023.
The WSFP is a charitable foundation conducting surgical outreach activities in the Philippines to indigent patients in need of affordable and quality services. The Memorandum of Agreement Signing marks the formal collaboration of the AFP and the WSFP to provide quality surgical healthcare to marginalized Filipinos by delivering free professional medical and surgical services.
“This Memorandum of Agreement signifies our shared vision and serves as a blueprint for the journey ahead. Our collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines is founded on mutual respect, trust, and deep-rooted commitment to serving the people of our nation,” said WSFP Chairperson, Ms. Arlene Keh.
Meanwhile, General Andres C Centino PA, the Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP) expressed his gratitude and reassured AFP’s support to the noble objectives of the WSFP.
“We welcome this project. If this is complemented with your expertise, your doctors, and equipment, we will have a very fruitful collaboration. Maraming salamat po for this Memorandum of Agreement and for your noble contribution to helping our disadvantaged countrymen” said the CSAFP.///
