CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, in partnership with United States forces, led the groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-purpose building in Barangay Tibulao, Carmen, Davao del Norte on April 6, 2026, as part of Exercise Balikatan 41-2026.
The project is implemented under the joint U.S.-AFP Engineering Civic Action Program, which supports humanitarian assistance and disaster response and promotes community development. It reflects the continued cooperation between two allied forces in strengthening disaster preparedness and community resilience.
The activity was conducted in coordination with the 534th Engineer Construction Battalion, 27th Infantry Battalion, 1003rd Infantry Brigade, the Municipal Government of Carmen, Barangay Tibulao, and the 10th Civil-Military Operations Battalion.
This activity reflects the AFP's commitment to fostering cooperation, enhancing capabilities, and delivering meaningful support to communities.
