CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—Lieutenant General Arthur Cordura, Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (VCSAFP), welcomed Rear Admiral Sangmin An, Commander of the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Naval Logistics Command, during a courtesy call held on October 23, 2024, at the AFP General Headquarters here.
The visit served as an opportunity to reinforce the strong defense ties between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines. Both sides discussed ongoing cooperation in logistics and supply chain management, as well as areas for further collaboration in defense and maritime security.
LtGen Cordura expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Korea Navy for its continued support in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the logistical capabilities of the Philippine military and highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation, especially in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The meeting is part of the AFP’s broader efforts to strengthen partnerships with its international allies and improve its operational readiness in addressing evolving security challenges.
