AFP Welcomes New Medical Center Commander, Honors Retiring General for Legacy of Excellence

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) honored the Brigadier General Jonna D Dalaguit, Commander of the AFP Medical Center, and welcome welcomed Colonel Erickson L Gob as new Commander in a joint Change of Command and Retirement Ceremony on November 4, here. The event was presided over by AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S Brawner Jr.

In his remarks, General Brawner commended BGen Dalaguit for her years of dedicated service, emphasizing her commitment to advancing military medicine and ensuring the highest standards of healthcare for AFP personnel. He expressed confidence in Colonel Gob’s ability to continue this mission.

“BGen Dalaguit leaves behind a stronger Medical Center and a legacy that inspires generations through integrity, compassion, and faith,” General Brawner said. “To our incoming Commander, build on this foundation and let the spirit of ‘Service Above Self’ guide your leadership.”

The event highlighted the AFP’s ongoing dedication to supporting medical professionals whose work is vital to the health, readiness, and operational strength of the entire organization.
