CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) installed Marine Colonel Ferdinand Marcelino as the new The Provost Marshal General (TPMG) AFP in a Change of Chief of Office and Retirement Ceremony on May 31 in Tejeros Hall here.
The ceremony also honored BGen Gerry Pulohanan who bowed out of service after decades of exemplary leadership including as TPMG, which he held since September 2018, as Chief of the AFP Human Rights Office, and Air Judge Advocate of the Philippine Air Force. He started his military career as a Probationary 2nd Lieutenant in 1996.
Meanwhile, Col Marcelino is a renowned intelligence officer, having served in the Intelligence Service AFP and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Bantay Laya” Class of 1994.
“Rest assured that the AFP will always support your efforts and endeavors especially in instilling discipline and professionalism in our organization as these are the foundations of our vision of becoming a world-class armed forces that is a source of national pride,” said MGen Rommel Roldan, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1, who presided over the ceremony.
