CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON) brought home medals from the 31st Association of South East Asian (ASEAN) Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) hosted by the Royal Thai Army on November 16-25, 2023 at the Infantry Center, Prachuap, Khiri Khan (Hua Hin), Thailand. The Philippine Army shooters bagged a total of 12 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze medals in Individual and ASEAN Team Events such as the Carbine (Individual), Rifle Match, Carbine Match, Machine Gun Match, Pistol Men Match, Pistol Ladies Match, Rifle Falling Plates, Carbine Falling Plates, Machine Gun Falling Plates, Pistol Men Falling Plates, and Pistol Ladies Match.
The AARM is an annual event participated by ASEAN countries promoting professionalism, sportsmanship, and friendly competition among ASEAN Armies.
