
CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) holds its Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) meeting in Maimbung, Sulu today, June 10, with the different BARMM provincial officials in attendance.
The RPOC is the first to be held in Sulu and marks the significant improvements in the security situation in the area, alongside the unity of the different provincial governors of BARMM in implementing their peace and order programs.
National and local government officials, including the police and military, will discuss security, peace and order, reunification and reconciliation, public safety, and anti-illegal drugs campaigns in the region.
BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim is leading the discussions with Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr; LtGen Roy Galido, Commander of Western Mindanao Command; LtGen Arthur Cordura, the AFP Vice Chief of Staff; and senior military officers from the General Headquarters also joining.///
