The Commission on Appointments (CA) approved the interim appointments and nomination of Department of National Defense Secretary Gilberto "Gibo" C. Teodoro, Jr. and 11 AFP senior officers during a session in Manila on September 13, 2023.
Secretary Teodoro along with other AFP senior officers have exhibited exceptional competence throughout their service which garnered the approval and trust of CA.
