CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The interim promotion of nine senior military officers were approved by the Commission of Appointments (CA) during the plenary session presided by Senate President and CA chairperson Juan Miguel Zubiri on March 12 in Pasay City.
BGen Romulo Quemado II, BGen Samuel Manzano, Commodore Lemuel Espartinez, BGen Josel Zuñiga, Col Mandy Libertino, Col Juan Gullem, Col Clifford Catubigan, Navy Captain Ted Cerezo Jr, and Col Nereo Simbahan.
The CA approval demonstrates military’s commitment to meritocracy and the promotion of qualified people based on their achievements, their skills, and their good character.
