CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, led on May 25 the awarding ceremony for the outgoing cadet officers of University of the Philippines Reserve Officers Training Corps.
The ceremony, done in line with the 102nd homecoming of the UP Vanguard, recognized the dedication, leadership, and exemplary service of the UP ROTC cadet officers, who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to the values and responsibilities of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps.
General Brawner, in his keynote address, lauded the cadets for their achievements and underscored the critical role they play in national defense and community service.
“This pivotal moment in your journey became your opportunity to prove your mettle, embracing the core values of honor, duty, and country that have defined the UP Vanguard. As you step forward to receive your commissions, remember that you are part of a legacy. Let these principles be your guiding light,” the CSAFP said.
