CSAFP urges WESCOM troops to stay determined amid challenges

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, urged soldiers of the Western Command to continue with determination in their mission amid challenges to Philippine sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea.
He made the pronouncement during his visit alongside Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard, to the Western Command in Palawan on March 26.
As he checked the status of wounded personnel and awarded those who contributed in previous rotation and reprovisioning missions, the CSAFP said that they will be implementing changes in the RoRe operations and told the soldiers to keep up their good work.

“What you are doing here has strategic implications. The whole world is watching us so let us continue with our determination and resolve to accomplish our mission and the conduct of our RoRe operations,” General Brawner Jr said.
