EXERCISE BALIKATAN | JOINT FORCES EMPOWER COMMUNITY THROUGH HEALTH ENGAGEMENT

A collaborative Community Health Engagement (CHE) as part of the ongoing Exercise Balikatan 40-2025 was successfully conducted yesterday, 24 April 2025, in Brgy Pulong Sampalok, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan, through the joint efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the United States Air Force (USAF), and the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF).
Activities included health lectures on proper nutrition, diabetes awareness, responsible antibiotic use, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training—all aimed at improving community health knowledge and resilience. By working together, the participating forces not only reinforced their interoperability but also deepened their ties with the community through meaningful, people-centered engagement.
