CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City — The Philippine Air Force (PAF), through the Philippine Air Force Flying School Alumni Association, Inc. (PAFFSAAI), successfully conducted its annual alumni homecoming, “Balik Fernando,” on April 25, 2026 at Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.
General Romeo S Brawner Jr, the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), served as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the annual gathering. The event brought together generations of military aviators in a shared celebration of legacy, service, and professionalism. A wreath-laying ceremony was also conducted to honor fallen aviators and recognize their enduring contributions to national defense.
In his message, General Brawner emphasized the importance of sustaining excellence, discipline, and camaraderie within the ranks, noting that the strength of the Armed Forces is anchored on the example set by its personnel. He underscored the vital role of PAF aviators in advancing mission readiness and safeguarding Philippine airspace.
The AFP affirms its continued commitment to developing competent, mission-ready, and values-driven airmen who will carry forward the proud legacy of military aviation in service of the nation.///
